So I'm 99% sure I'm going to change classes from Xenon to Night Lord in the next few weeks and want to start properly preparing weapons and secondary weapons in terms of cubing.
I've figured out that with my current equips without claw and secondary potentials + nebulites, I will have approximately 150% boss damage
and 1000-1100 weapon attack.
In terms of my emblem, which can't possess %boss damage, I will be aiming for 18-21% atk
So should I cube my claw and secondary for %boss damage on each? %atk on each? %boss damage on 1 and %atk one the other?
Also, should I cube or buy either a %atk or %boss damage charm? Cubing would be from unique during a probable miracle time, given that charms seem to be
about 15b premade.
Thanks

Those two things are a waste to have entirely correct? I mean why is there atk% and dam%? Why cant it just be one thing to do for skills, passives, linkskills, ect? And benefits the range? Seems like a broken system now. Because i still dont know which is better to get for higher damage and good range? In potential. Some of the most sought after potential effects are those of the Decent skills. There are four Decent skills in game so far: Decent Mystic Door, Decent Sharp Eyes, Decent Hyper Body, and Decent Haste.

A lot of peope say that total Damage is the best potential stat, but what about Critical Damage?
My damage is about 7000 with a non critical hit and 22,000 with critical damage, which is about 3x stronger.
With epic potential you would have to compare 8% critical to 6% total damage.
With 6% total damage, i would hit around 7000*1.06=7420 non critical and 22000*1.06=23,320 with critical (on average).
But with 8% critical, it would stack on top of sharp eyes and would get 55%+8%=63% critical rate.
Please correct me if I'm doing my math wrong but if i compare damage i would get
(7420*45%)+(23320*55%) = 16,165 damage per shot on average with 6% Total Damage potential
or compared to
(7000*37%)+(22000*63%)=16,450 damage per shot on average with 8% Critical rate
Now i know its not a whole lot of difference, but is Critical rate completely underestimated?
